Effort is important, but knowing where to make an effort makes all the difference!

I have heard a few variations of this story but love the message and given that I am pitching for business a lot this month, I felt compelled to share it;
A giant ship engine failed. The ship’s owners tried one expert after another, but none of them could figure but how to fix the engine.
Then they brought in an old woman who had been fixing ships since she was a young girl. She carried a large tool box with her, and when she arrived, she immediately went to work. She inspected the engine very carefully, top to bottom.
Two of the ship’s owners were there, watching this woman, hoping she would know what to do. After looking things over, the old woman reached into her tool box and pulled out a small hammer. She gently tapped something. Instantly, the engine lurched into life. She carefully put her hammer away. The engine was fixed!
A week later, the owners received a bill from the old woman for £10,000.
“What?!” the owners exclaimed. “She hardly did anything!”
So they wrote the old woman a note saying, “Please send us an itemised invoice.”
The woman sent an invoice that read:
Tapping with a hammer………………….. £2.00
Knowing where to tap…………………….. £9,998.00
THE END
Any training company can deliver the same content but knowing 'how' to turn theory into changed behaviours and mindsets - that's where the expertise lies!
My tool box is overflowing and without the use of a hammer I do 'nail it'......oh and I won't charge you over the odds!
Yours sincerely
